This is a small heavy-duty restaurant ware creamer or syrup pitcher in glossy avocado/olive green glaze with a subtle molded swirl body, pinched pour spout, white interior, and looped side handle. It was made by Homer Laughlin China Company of Newell, West Virginia, and carries the black "Homer Laughlin Best China U.S.A." hotel-ware backstamp with the "MF" code on the unglazed foot ring. The vitrified Best China line was produced for hotel, diner, and institutional use, and the avocado colorway places this example in the 1960s to 1970s.
