Product Details

This is a heavy cast iron baking pan cast with nine deep heart-shaped wells and integral open loop handles at each end, used for making heart muffins, cornbread, biscuits, or molded desserts. The pan is unmarked on the underside, typical of foundry pieces produced by American makers such as John Wright, Wagner, or Lodge and their many imitators sold through housewares and gift catalogs. Based on the casting style, seasoning, and light surface rust, it most likely dates from the mid-to-late 20th century.
