Vintage Made in Japan 1940s Paper Mache with storage box. 17 figures, plus faux moss, faux leaves, Christmas tree (base is cracked). Japan is stamped on the bottom of most figures. It is possible that the camel, 3 sheep and 1 male figurine belong to a different set. However, all are included in the set. Set includes: Baby Jesus in Manger, Mary, Joseph, Angel, 1 donkey, 1 cow, 1 camel, 5 sheep, 1 shepherd carrying a lamb, 3 wise men, 1 male figure with a cape. 1 wooden storage box that can double as a stable or backdrop, 2 clumps of faux moss, 1 Christmas tree ( base is broken), 4 sets of leaf bunches, 1 star.
