Vintage green carved scarab pendant with wonderful Egyptian Revival talisman appeal. Deep emerald/jade-green oval cabochon is carved with a scarab motif and set in a gold-tone oval frame with an elongated open bail. Reverse of the green stone also shows carved/incised detail. Pendant and chain are not an original pairing. I added the gold-tone chain so the pendant is ready to wear; chain is included with purchase. A tiny statement piece with an ancient Egyptian amulet / archaeological revival feel—great worn alone or layered with other vintage chains. Vintage/preowned with age-related wear. Please review photos for condition. May have spots and/or need cleaning.
