Description: Up for sale is a classic 1886 United States Indian Head Penny. This coin features the much scarcer Type 2 (Variety II) design hub, easily distinguished by the lowest feather of the headdress pointing between the "C" and "A" in AMERICA. Year: 1886Variety: Type 2 (Scarce mid-year hub change) Mint: Philadelphia (No mint mark) Condition: Circulated. Displays a nice chocolate-brown copper patina with a clear date, distinct letters, and partial details remaining in the headdress feathers. Great historical addition to any US type coin collection or Indian Head penny series folder.
