This is a very beautiful Mosser Glass Cobalt Blue Hen on Nest Covered Candy Dish with Wide Ruffled Rim Base! This gorgeous depression style candy dish is even more elegant in person, with all the great classic embossed details and beautiful deep cobalt blue color. It has a very elegant ruffled rimmed base with basket weave embossments, and the hen on the nest lid sits on eggs and has the split tail. There is the Mosser makers mark on the back of the lid at the base of the split tail. Being made by Mosser glass, you know the quality and craftmanship are second to none! The dish measures approx. 6 & 1/2" long and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. When packing this item, I use a large amount of bubble wrap and packing peanuts for this items safe travels to its new home!
