This auction is for a gorgeous Rare Georgia Blue Carnival Glass Hen on Nest Chicken Candy Dish! This high quality depression style hen on nest dish was made by Mosser Glass exclusively for Rosso Glassware using the original Westmoreland mold. This iconic candy dish is even more elegant and beautiful in person, with great classic embossed details and a beautiful Georgia Blue carnival glass color; very unique and quite gorgeous! It has a very beautiful iridized carnival glass mirrored shine that is very eye catching; much more noticeable in real life versus the photos. It has the Westmoreland makers marks embossed inside the lid, base, and under the base along with the Rosso makers mark. Being manufactured by Mosser Glass, the overall quality and craftsmanship of this dish is second to none! The dish measures approx. 5 & 1/2" long and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. When packing this item, I use a large amount of bubble wrap and bio-degradable packing peanuts for this items safe travels to its new home!
