This auction is for a gorgeous Rare Golden Amber Carnival Glass Rooster on Nest Basket Chicken Candy Dish! This high quality depression style rooster dish was made by Mosser Glass exclusively for Rosso Glassware using the original Westmoreland mold. This iconic candy dish is even more elegant and beautiful in person, with great classic embossed details and beautiful golden amber carnival glass color; very unique and quite gorgeous! It has a very beautiful iridized carnival glass mirrored shine that is very eye catching; much more noticeable in real life versus the photos. It has the Westmoreland & Rosso makers marks embossed inside the base, and the Westmoreland makers mark embossed under the base. Being manufactured by Mosser Glass, the overall quality and craftsmanship of this dish is second to none! The dish measures approx. 5 & 1/2" long and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is a very small rough spot about the size of a finger tip on the inside of the lid; not visible but mentioning anyway! When packing this item, I use a large amount of bubble wrap and bio-degradable packing peanuts for this items safe travels to its new home!
