RARE ITALIAN SCULPTURAL SILVER Some jewelry is meant to accessorize, these are meant to become the outfit. A spectacular pair of sculptural earrings by Sesamo Preziosi of Arezzo, Italy, identified by the documented ★ 647 AR maker's mark. Sesamo Preziosi was an established Arezzo precious-metal manufacturer, with registration 647 AR assigned in 1985. The design is what makes them special. Each earring forms an elongated, open eye silhouette, combining brilliantly polished silver with a textured inner element that appears almost coiled. As they move, the different surfaces catch the light from completely different angles, these earrings have an almost kinetic quality. They're bold not gaudy, architectural without feeling cold, and unmistakably Italian. Details: • Sesamo Preziosi • Arezzo, Italy • ★ 647 AR maker's mark • 925 • Approx. 2½" long • Approx. 17.21g pair weight • Dramatic dimensional openwork design • Sculptural statement earrings • Excellent late-20th-century aesthetic These aren't the earrings you wear hoping someone notices.
