Vintage mid-century modern California pottery ceramic console ashtray. Glazed in a fiery atomic tangerine orange with heavy black speckling and textured gold sponging along the rim and center ridge. Features an upturned rectangular boat form with molded organic leaf fluting leading into a center divider fitted with four cigarette rests. Raised on a rectangular footed base with protective pads and embossed maker markings on the underside reading "Calif. USA". Excellent vintage condition with high gloss, no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. Measures almost 6 1/2 inches long.
