Royal Doulton English fine bone china open sugar bowl from the beloved Brambly Hedge "Tea Service" collection, designed by Jill Barklem and dated 1985. Features a scalloped rim and footed base adorned with delicate pink wild bramble roses, blackberries, and foliage surrounding a central dessert cartouche inscribed "Brambly Hedge / Jill Barklem". The interior is charmingly decorated with mini vignette illustrations of fresh fruit and teatime fare. The underside displays the official Royal Doulton lion crest backstamp alongside the series copyright. Excellent vintage condition with bright, crisp transferware illustrations, glossy glaze, clean foot rim, and no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. Measures about 3 3/4 inches wide.
