Lot of 12 original 1932 Milwaukee Walgreen Prosperity Tokens, representing 12 out of the 14 tokens distributed during this Depression-Era promotion. Walgreen Drug reportedly distributed "bags of gold" to Milwaukee-area households in October 1932, with each bag containing 14 brass tokens offering discounts on various products. These 12 advertise period brands and products including Dr. West Toothpaste, Camay soap, Aspirin, and Pond's, among others. A fantastic near-complete group of Depression-era advertising exonumia and early Walgreens history. Tokens show age-related wear, toning, oxidation and surface marks. Please review photos carefully for condition as there are no refunds or exchanges. Please bid accordingly!
