Striking fluorite specimen from Zhejiang, China, featuring layers of purple and blue cubic fluorite beautifully contrasted against deeper purple octahedral fluorite. This piece has a wonderfully complex crystal habit with numerous intergrown cubes covering the surface and larger, richly colored purple formations visible beneath. The combination creates tons of depth and texture, with colors shifting from soft lavender and blue gray to much deeper purple depending on the lighting and viewing angle. One of the coolest features of this specimen is its response under UV light. As shown in the photos, areas of the specimen produce a vivid fluorescent glow that dramatically highlights the internal structure and crystal growth.
