Beautiful vintage pair of hand-turned wooden candlesticks, each signed/initialed "C.L.S." and dated 1979 on the underside. These substantial solid wood candle holders feature a wonderful sculptural stacked-ring design, warm rich brown finish and visible natural wood grain. Their chunky turned silhouette has a distinctly late Mid-Century / 1970s artisan look that works beautifully with modern organic, rustic, boho and eclectic interiors. Very good vintage condition with natural wood variations, knots and light age-related surface wear. Cork protective pads remain on the bottoms. Both pieces are hand-marked C.L.S. 1979. Candle shown for display purposes only and is not included. A wonderful genuine 1979 pair with much more character than modern reproduction candle holders.
