Vintage Italian & French Christmas Postcards - Madonna & Child / Nativity Scene - Set of 2 =============== Offered is a set of two antique/vintage Christmas postcards featuring religious Nativity and Madonna and Child scenes: Postcard 1 (Top): Features the Virgin Mary holding Baby Jesus under a bright star with "Merry Christmas" embossed on the front. Marked "Printed in Saxony" (1581/6) on the reverse, with an unsent split-back format. Light corner wear and smudging on the back. Postcard 2 (Bottom): Features a colorful depiction of Mary with Baby Jesus and a young child in a cradle, with the Italian greeting "Buone Feste e Buon Anno" (Happy Holidays and Happy New Year). Marked "EK 3387" on the front and "Made in France" on the reverse. Unposted condition.
