English lantern clock manufactured by Smiths English Clocks. This timepiece beautifully replicates the classic 17th-century traditional design. It features an ornate fish/dolphin fretwork panel, an arched top bell, turned corner pillars, and an engraved foliate dial. It is a highly collectible item for horology enthusiasts or lovers of vintage British craftsmanship. Collector Notes & Specifications: Premium Movement: Features a high-grade, factory-stamped "Unadjusted Seven (7) Jewels" lever platform escapement movement. Authentic Marks: Fully stamped EW214/53 on the back movement plate. Double-stamped "Made in Great Britain" on both the internal mechanism and the lower edge of the outer brass casing. Includes: Comes complete with the winding key. Cosmetically, the clock is in great vintage shape with no major structural damage or missing external trim.
