Lot of 2 Antique Christmas Postcards 1905 French Joyeux Noël & Embossed Gold Gelatin Merry Xmas ================ Offered here is a charming set of two authentic early 1900s antique Christmas postcards featuring classic Edwardian holiday imagery: French "Joyeux Noël" Postcard (Postmarked 1905): Features three children in winter clothes bringing home a Christmas tree on a sled with a toy drum and clown. Printed by Meissner & Buch, Leipzig (Künstler-Postkarten Serie 1335, "Weihnachtsglück"). Hand-written message in French dated Noël 1905. Embossed "Merry Xmas" Postcard: Features children in Victorian/Edwardian winter attire framed by an embossed gold gilt border with icicle accents. Unused postmark area, sent to "Miss Jean Fisher, Spencer, N.Y." from "Clara." Condition: Excellent antique condition with minor edge wear, mild corner rounding, and light natural toning/age patina consistent with age (120+ years old).
