Stunning vintage German decorative pitcher/flagon made of high-quality pewter. Features traditional incised horizontal rings wrapping around a tapered neck, a smooth bulbous body, and an elegant flared base. The lid features a beautifully detailed, double acorn thumbpiece lever hinge that works smoothly. The bottom is stamped with an authentic circular "REIN ZINN" hallmark certifying pure, high-grade pewter. Condition & Issues: Excellent vintage condition with no major structural dents or cracks. Features a natural, light, matte aged patina across the exterior surface which gives it great character. The interior is clean, and the lid hinge mechanism functions flawlessly. Minor insignificant scuffs consistent with vintage age and handling are visible on the base.
