Vintage pair of solid brass crane or heron bird figurines in the mid-century Hollywood Regency style, one standing tall with a graceful upright S-curve neck and the other bent forward preening, both mounted on round weighted bases with detailed clawed feet.  The taller crane measures approximately 11 inches and the shorter approximately 9 inches, measured against the ruler shown in the photos.  Both retain the original felt pads on the base. They show a warm golden brass finish with light surface wear, minor spotting, and patina consistent with age; no bends, breaks, or repairs noted.
