Rare and way beyond VG+... Waylon Jennings released "Don't Think Twice" in 1970. It contains recordings dating back to 1963, including two tracks written and recorded by Bob Dylan: "Don't Think Twice" and "I Don't Believe You," from 1963's "Freewheelin' Bob Dylan" and 1964's "Another Side of Bob Dylan," respectively. Bernie Grundman, then just 26, engineered the album, mixing new vocal tracks and instrumentation to help craft the 11-song album. It followed the self-titled "Waylon" and preceded "The Best of Waylon Jennings." It did not remain in print long, and the rights fell to Bear Family later in the '70s. Their reissue was entitled "Rave On," and the track lineup ditched "Don't Think Twice" and added two tracks, including the new title track, "Rave On.". If you're interested in the "Rave On" LP, I have it also, but not as a promo. Just message. There are several other Waylon Jennings records available: highlights include a reissued 7" with Buddy Holly as part of his backing band, and his album with Willie Nelson. There are 8-tracks, 45s, LPs, and one or two cassettes. This record is in amazing condition. The tip-on jacket has no damaged corners, no weak seams, and no writing. The promotional copy stickers are on the back, and the white labels on the record gleam.
