Rare handmade maxi dress designed by Pauline Wood for Valley of the 3 Forks Antique & Gift Shop in Tennessee. Crafted from natural cream muslin with bold blue “Fancy Blue Ribbon Race Horse Oats” graphics, it features a sleeveless bib bodice, buttoned shoulders, gathered drop waist and a dramatically full, flowing skirt. The raw feed sack fabric dates to the 1930s to 1950s, but the dress itself was constructed as a boutique garment between the late 1970s and 1990s. Condition: Good vintage condition with scattered age spots, small marks and natural fabric variations throughout. These imperfections complement its authentic rustic, feed-sack-inspired character.
