Product Details

1932 $10 US gold “Eagle” nearly uncirculated condition. The face of the coin is a little shiny from being handled. The fields are nice and relatively scratch and bag mark free. Looks to have some mint luster in fields. .4835 Troy ounces. Slightly smaller than a us half dollar coin in diameter. Makes for a weighty little piece coin in your hand. Made of .9 fine gold, The United States mint made these coins from an alloy of 90% gold and 10% Copper. The Copper helped the relatively soft gold to hold up to the constant light friction that coins will be exposed to over the course of their lives as currency. This coin is in very nice near mint condition. A beautiful example that you won’t feel afraid to pick up and feel the weight in our hand. As of this posting gold is US $4600 An ounce. This coin melts for 2250 At that price. Asking just a shade over melt at $2600. OBO.
