Beautiful vintage hand-painted porcelain covered sugar bowl, marked Hand Painted Made in Japan. Features colorful floral decoration in red, green, cobalt blue and gold, with ornate gilt scroll handles, a domed lid, blue finial and three-footed base. A lovely Imari-inspired design for a tea set, china cabinet or vintage porcelain collection. Approx. 3.5" tall. Please see photos for measurements and condition. The piece is in nice vintage condition with no major chips or cracks noted. There is noticeable wear/loss to the gold on the lid finial and light age-related wear to the gilt and finish.
