This striking collector specimen from Minas Gerais, Brazil features lustrous clear quartz crystals accented by intricate natural hematite inclusions. Rather than simply coating the crystal surfaces, the hematite was incorporated during crystal growth, creating dramatic internal phantom-like landscapes and delicate dendritic patterns visible throughout the quartz. The specimen displays multiple generations of quartz growth, with transparent terminations revealing suspended iron oxide inclusions that appear almost painted within the crystal. From different viewing angles, the hematite patterns shift between fine branching networks, geometric zoning, and smoky bronze veils, making the specimen exceptionally engaging under bright light.
