The handwritten account records Union Pacific’s proportion of stock-yard operating expenses for May 1891, with detailed railroad accounting and a total of approximately $365.71. Loaded with period character, including bold purple and red/pink auditor, comptroller, treasury and payment stamps, handwritten calculations, approvals and multiple original signatures. Approx. size: 8 x 11 inches. Double sided with the original “Distribution of Accounts” ledger on reverse. Comes folded as originally filed. Approximately 135 years old.
