Vintage early-to-mid 1980s Fire Department Class A dress/service peaked cap by Hankin Bros. Cap Co. (Buffalo, NY). Brown fabric crown, glossy black patent visor, gold ribbed expansion band, and matching gold-tone side buttons embossed “FD” within a laurel wreath (one on each side). Features the company’s patented Adjust-A-Size adjustable sweatband (label marked “Patent Pending” and BH/HBCC). Size chart shows Small (6½ – 6⅞) range. Handwritten owner name “L. Gresh” inside. Classic firefighter uniform piece in solid vintage condition with normal age/wear. No front badge present (eyelet is there for one).
