Pictured is a vintage multi-strand statement necklace featuring sterling silver beads, mixed stone beads, natural shells and colorful branch-form accents. Length: Approximately 20" when displayed on a necklace sizing form. Weight: Approximately 182 grams Sterling Silver: Numerous beads approximately 7.9 mm round beads tested as sterling silver with XRF Stones: Mixed blue-green, pale green and pink beads. Testing produced readings within jadeite and quartz ranges on a Presidium Gem Tester II. Stones have not been laboratory certified. Shells: Natural green and cream spiral shells measuring approximately 1". Accents: Pink round beads and orange branch-form beads. These have the appearance of coral-related materials but are being described conservatively because they have not been laboratory identified. Clasp: Silver-tone clasp tested by XRF at approximately 45% silver with copper, zinc, rhodium and iron present; clasp is not solid sterling silver. Construction: Substantial multi-strand design strung on clear nylon cord. Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition. Nylon stringing appears secure and in good condition.
