Beautiful antique pair of 19th century French porcelain candlesticks, possibly Bayeux, featuring a rich cobalt blue ground with elaborate gilt decoration and hand painted polychrome floral reserves. Classic chinoiserie influence with pink, orange and green florals. Approximately 8" tall. Unidentified hand applied decorator/workshop marks to undersides. Condition: Antique condition with expected age related wear and gilt loss. One candlestick has a noticeable lean/irregularity, likely from manufacture/firing. Please review photos carefully. Attribution to Bayeux is possible but unconfirmed.
