Era: Early 2000s — October 2001 Vintage Carhartt B17-DST heavyweight denim jeans in a classic dark-stone blue wash. Made from durable 100% cotton denim with a relaxed seat and thigh, tapered legs, five-pocket construction, brass-tone hardware, and a genuine leather Carhartt logo patch on the rear pocket. Excellent big-and-tall size with a roomy workwear silhouette. The discontinued B17 model has since been replaced by Carhartt’s newer Relaxed Straight Jean, making original examples increasingly desirable among vintage workwear buyers. Dating Clues Interior production code reads 1001, consistent with an October 2001 manufacture date. Older B17-DST model number, leather rear-pocket logo patch, heavyweight all-cotton denim, and Made in Mexico construction further support the early-2000s dating.
