Pattern: Official pattern name is "Princess" (listed as Pattern No. 704). It is widely nicknamed the "Black Rose" pattern due to its stark, elegant hand-painted black and gray watercolor rose motif juxtaposed against a smooth white porcelain base. The border features a delicate, non-textured platinum/silver rim. This pattern was produced primarily from the mid-1950s through the 1960s.
