The ivory railroad dial is armed with sweeping Arabic numerals, gorgeous blue hands and a recessed small seconds register at 6 o’clock. Sitting at 3 is an absolutely monstrous fluted crown begging to be wound. Inside lurks the real attraction. A 17 jewel 6498-style hand-wound mechanical movement beats behind the exhibition caseback, putting the gears, jewels, balance and mechanical guts completely on display.
