A remarkable Stormy Chalcedony Druzy Geode from Maharashtra, India, featuring an entire cavern of blue-gray and icy-white stalactitic formations covered with sparkling microcrystalline quartz. At approximately 6.5 inches tall and weighing 2.27 pounds, this substantial cabinet specimen offers exceptional depth, extensive crystallization, and an almost otherworldly interior. The open display face reveals hundreds of upright chalcedony projections rising from the floor, walls, and deepest recesses of the cavity. These formations range from tiny rounded buds to tall fingerlike structures, producing the appearance of a densely packed frozen landscape. Each projection is coated with extremely fine druzy crystals. Thousands of tiny faces catch the light independently, creating bright points of sparkle across the pale formations.
