Ken Rowe, Vantage Point. A limited edition bronze mountain lion, number 13 from an edition of 99. A cougar at rest on a rock outcrop, cast in bronze with a warm brown and green patina and mounted on a shaped hardwood base. The base carries the artist's brass plaque reading VANTAGE POINT BY KEN ROWE SAA. The bronze is signed and carries a cast copyright date of 2010 at the foot of the rock. Ken Rowe is an award winning wildlife sculptor working in Sedona, Arizona. He is recognised by the Society of Animal Artists, the Mountain Oyster Club, Western Artists of America and the Phippen Museum, he sculpts from live reference, and he issues his maquettes in editions of 99. The SAA after his name on the plaque is his Society of Animal Artists signature. This is a contemporary limited edition bronze rather than an antique, and it is described that way deliberately.
