An unusual Stormy Chalcedony Druze with Calcite from Maharashtra, India, combining sparkling blue-gray chalcedony and quartz druze with substantial cream-white calcite crystals that display a vivid response under ultraviolet light and a lingering phosphorescent afterglow. The primary display face forms a deep, irregular cavity lined with densely packed microcrystals. Its chalcedony ranges from pale silvery gray and icy blue to darker storm-gray within the protected recesses. Thousands of tiny quartz faces reflect the light, producing brilliant sparkle throughout the formation. Several prominent calcite crystals extend across the center of the cavity. The largest forms a long, pale crystal bridge through the middle of the specimen, displaying broad faces, stepped growth, translucent areas, and naturally incomplete terminations.
