Vintage Blenko Glass Regal 5-RE Goblet Vase 10.25” Ruby & Crystal On offer today is a piece of the hard-to-find Regal collection, the 5-RE Goblet Vase with twisted stem and applied foot from 1960-61 only. This piece is largely in stunning condition; the goblet and stem are perfect, without chips or cracks, and the glass is clear without cloudiness or sickness. The underside is acid etched “blenko” as is appropriate for the era. However, there is unfortunately a small crack on the underside of the foot; it is approximately 0.5” long and I can just barely get my fingernail in it. The crack does not extend through to the top of the foot; it is visible but you cannot feel it. You cannot see the crack when the piece is on display, you can only see it from the top looking down or when holding it upside down. See photos for details. This is a terrific piece for someone looking to start their Regal collection without breaking the bank, as it is priced accordingly due to the flaw.
