Product Details

Up for sale is a unique 1950s automatic field watch featuring a fascinating cross-border assembly. The original private-label dial was custom-branded for Earle Smiths / Errotex and showcases a heavy, uniform golden-brown "tropical" patina that gives it incredible vintage character. It is powered by a rugged, Swiss-made 17-jewel A. Schild AS 1361N automatic movement stamped with the EXM US import code for the Savoy Watch Co. Inc. of New York. This engine is housed in a robust, water-protected stainless steel case crafted by the Le Bélier workshop in Besançon, France. The inside caseback retains a hand-engraved vintage watchmaker service ledger mark (Y11055). Offered in honest, unpolished condition, it is a perfect historic addition for any vintage collector. Running. Service History Unknown. Sold as is!
