This specific version of the logo was heavily utilized on promotional barware throughout the 1970s and 1980s.The heavy network of dark lines covering the mug is called a crackle glaze. While most ceramic pieces develop "crazing" accidentally over time, many breweriana mugs from this era were intentionally fired with a special glaze that shrinks faster than the clay body.
