*cross-listed* A lovely 1940s brooch by Linc, a short-lived but well-regarded American fine costume jewelry brand (stamped “LINC 1/20 12K G.F.” on the reverse). Open heart-form design in gold-filled metal, centered on a layered flower set with a round faceted aqua-blue crystal, bordered by a trail of smaller flower settings each centered with a small blue rhinestone. The crystal shows a soft manganese-type glow under blacklight, consistent with genuine older glass. A well-made, collectible signed piece from a brand with a short production run.
