One vintage Esquire cartoon page / cut-out, printed/displayed on both sides. Found at a Brooklyn flea market. Both cartoons are by E. Simms Campbell (1906–1971), the first nationally published African-American cartoonist in a major slick magazine and a core Esquire artist. Front: “What a moon—just imagine the power of that advertising space!” Esquire, March 1939 Back: “One of you lawyers will have to get out and make room for the patient” Esquire, March 1937 (signed and dated ’36) Condition: Cut from original magazines and mounted on blue board. Age toning, corner wear, and old tape on the lawyer side. Not original artwork and not a complete magazine. Sold as a vintage printed page.
