Beautiful vintage blown-glass Christmas ornament made in Slovakia, featuring a rich matte copper/orange finish with elaborate raised dimensional decoration and hand-applied gold glitter accents. The ornament has an unusual rounded teardrop form with decorative relief panels around the body, detailed gold glitter line work and its original metal cap and wire hanger. The cap is marked SLOVAKIA. Based on the country marking, construction and decorative style, this ornament is believed to date from approximately the late 1990s to early 2000s.
