Product Details

1996 Marsha McCloskey designs and makes quilts, teaches, and writes about quiltmaking. With her special love of feathered star designs, Marsha's quilts pay tribute to tradition and practicality—most are rotary-cut and machine-pieced. Her designs inspire quilters to experiment with color and fabric. Marsha has written or co-authored 15 books since 1981. In 1995, she designed a line of fabrics called Staples for the Clothworks label. An art major in college, Marsha turned from printmaking to quiltmaking in 1969. She has taught in the Seattle area where she lives, for conferences and quilt guilds nationwide, and in Canada, Japan, Australia, and Europe.
