Product Details

Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage Moroccan Hamsa wall hanging (also known as the Khamsa, Hand of Fatima, or Hand of Mary). This stunning piece of North African folk art features a highly detailed, embossed silver-toned metal front with intricate floral and arabesque filigree designs. Hanging dynamically from the center is a smaller, matching nested Hamsa charm that adds unique movement and depth to the piece. The front metal plate is cleanly wrapped over a thick, durable genuine brown leather backing, allowing the plaque to hang flush and safely against your wall without scratching your paint. Item Highlights & Dimensions: • Total Length: Approx. 7.75 inches (from the top built-in hanging loop to the bottom finger tip) • Maximum Width: Approx. 5 inches (across the thumbs) • Materials: Silver-toned metal alloy, genuine leather backing • Features: Built-in metal hanging ring at the top for immediate and easy display. Condition Notes: This item is in very good vintage condition with a wonderful rustic patina. The embossed metal has an authentic antique finish with natural dark oxidation in the recessed areas that beautifully accentuates the artwork. The leather backing shows typical minor surface wear, scuffs, and dark aging spots consistent with a handmade, pre-owned vintage item.
