Product Details

used Rare OOP Deadly Hero is a 1975 American neo-noir crime thriller film directed by Ivan Nagy and starring Don Murray as a disturbed, bigoted New York City police officer. • Officer Lacy (Don Murray) shoots and kills an assailant named Rabbit (James Earl Jones) after Rabbit forces his way into the apartment of a cellist named Sally (Diahn Williams). • Although Rabbit dropped his weapon and was no longer a threat, Lacy executes him in cold blood and lies in his report, claiming it was self-defense. • Boosted by right-wing political figures, Lacy is hailed as a public hero. However, Sally knows the truth, prompting Lacy to stalk and terrorize her when she threatens to expose him.
