Authentic 1919 (Year 8 of the Republic) large copper 20 Cash coin, struck in the Hunan Province. Features the crossed flags of the early Chinese Republic on the reverse, and a sharp rice plant wreath with the English legend: 'THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA - TWENTY CASH' on the obverse. Mintage unknown due to the chaotic Warlord Era. Incredible survival rate—most of these were melted down for wartime copper or worn smooth in street markets. In my opinion, this is a solid VF (Very Fine) specimen with remarkably crisp flag lines and sharp lettering. Please check the live camera feed to judge the grade for yourself!
