Beautiful vintage oval porcelain dish featuring a series of romantic 18th-century-style courting scenes in pink, blue and green, surrounded by elaborate raised gold gilt decoration. The elongated shape and richly decorated interior give it a wonderful Rococo / French boudoir look. Perfect as a vanity or dresser dish for jewelry and trinkets, or displayed on a tabletop as decorative porcelain. The underside bears a shield/crest-style maker’s mark with the number 1702. Vintage condition with age-related wear, including some wear to the gilding and decoration. Please review photos for details.
