Apparently in 1997, someone at Enesco looked at vegetables and decided peas and carrots deserved their own ceramic real estate. And honestly, I support it. This wonderfully weird little matching lot includes two Otagiri ceramic jars/canisters featuring a pea pod and carrot nestled into their respective flowerpots, because the late '90s kitchen was a lawless place and we decorated accordingly. Both pieces are marked Otagiri ©1997 Enesco Corporation on the bottom. The vegetable tops lift off, revealing small hollow storage compartments inside. What were you supposed to put in them? Spices? Salt? Emergency Skittles? The tiny written confessions of your enemies? I have absolutely no idea, but here they are. ✨ PRE-OWNED VINTAGE CONDITION. Both are clean inside and out and don't appear to have seen much, if any, actual storage use. Each piece does have a small chip along the upper vegetable/lid area, as clearly shown in the photos. Some light surface/base wear may also be present from age and storage. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition. 🚫 No cancellations.
