An impressive early American note featuring detailed period engraving, multiple ONE denomination devices, industrial and agricultural scenes, and a blank reverse. Unsigned and unissued, consistent with a remainder. The Franklin Silk Company was part of the ambitious 1830s American silk-production movement and is associated with the early development of Franklin Mills.
