1890s Victorian 2pc cream silk and wool blend skirt and bodice set. The bodice has the iconic puffed leg of mutton cap on a fitted sleeve. Satin waistband with bow back and tails. Bodice is fully lined in glazed cotton and has boning at each interior seam. The skirt is fully lined in glazed cotton with a stiffer white cotton trim and velvet hem protector. Skirt waist is 22.5" however you can move the eyes over to get an additional inch. Overall fair+ condition for an item that's over 130 years old. The skirt has numerous areas of small holes - most notable near back hem with a dark gray soil spot that seems surface. Additional minor spots to skirt. The bodice has some small holes throughout with more notable holes to back collar. There's very fine silk that trims the upper center back which is very fragile and if handled will disintegrate. Luckily it's trim and not structural. Wear to silk ribbon trimming the sleeves. The silk waistband bow has spotting to the interior tails.
