A highly collectible and uncommon mid-century collection of traditional Welsh folk tales, myths, and fairy lore beautifully captured by Carmarthenshire author William Glynne-Jones. Features a striking, atmospheric frontispiece illustration and fantastic pen sketches throughout by Douglas Relf. Condition: Fair. Dust Jacket: The original, beautifully illustrated dust jacket is present but has significant tears and paper loss to the spine area and back panel (as clearly shown in the photos). It has been kept to preserve the artwork. Book & Binding: Underneath the jacket, the blue cloth boards have some age related marks and sun damage to the spine, the binding is solid, and the text block is structurally firm. Pages: The internal pages and illustrations are exceptionally clean, bright, and free from any handwriting or inscriptions.
