Now this is one of my special finds. This is an old Collins Clear-Type Press edition of Hans Andersen’s Fairy Tales, which we believe dates from around the 1920s to 1930s. It has this beautiful old green cloth cover, wonderful black-and-white illustrations and full-page colour plates inside. It definitely shows its age, but for me that’s part of its charm—it’s potentially around 90 to 100 years old. This is one for someone who loves genuinely old books, fairy tales and books with a bit of history and soul.”
